Eagle boys take second at Turkey Trot

The Windom boys placed second and the girls sixth at Thursday’s Turkey Trot, held at the former Prairie View golf course in Worthington.

Windom’s boys finished with 67 team points. Worthington won the team title with 33 points.

The Eagle girls scored 121 points. Murray County Central-Fulda won the team title with 28 points.

Windom’s boys turned in a strong pack effort, led by Aaden Nauman’s ninth-place time of 17:08. He was closely followed by Thomas Green in 10th (17:16), Charlie Smith in 11th (17:23) and Jacob Green in 13th (17:32). Eli Bordewyk finished 24th (18:08).

The Eagle girls were led by Kaylee Walklin’s fourth-place time of 18:36. Chloe Shamp took 21st (23:07), followed by Alivia Letcher in 30th (24:12), Charlotte Nauman in 31st (24:12) and Camryn Elness in 42nd (25:49).
