The Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners will hold a work session Monday at 8:30 a.m. and a regular meeting Tuesday at 9 a.m. Both sessions will be at the county courthouse in Windom.
Monday’s work session will see commissioners discussing the proposed 2023 budget, as well as the possibility of adding positions for a ditch inspector and a GIS manager.
On the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting, the board will hold a public hearing on improvements to judicial ditch 10 in the county. The board also will act on a final contract payment for a project and will call for bids for a reconstruction project for 480th Avenue in Great Bend Township.
The board will also act to certify the preliminary tax levy for the county, hire a heavy equipment mechanic and purchase a radio for Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services.
