As it begins the process to construct a new K-12 school building in Lamberton, the Red Rock Central school district has announced plans to begin a Hall of Fame.
In a press release from Activities Director Brett Bartholomaus, nominations are currently being accepted for the first Hall of Fame class.
Nominations will cover seven different categories: Former Athletes, Former Coaches/Advisors, Former Administrators/Activities Directors, Program Contributors, Former Athletic Teams, Fine Arts and Distinguished Alumni.
Nominations will include the current Red Rock Central School District, dating back to 1994, as well as each of the former districts that now make up RRC — Storden, Jeffers, Storden-Jeffers, Sanborn, Lamberton and Sanborn-Lamberton.
The first Hall of Fame class will be selected and announced in the spring of 2023, with a formal induction ceremony in the fall of 2023.
To nominate someone, go to www.redrockcentral.org, click on District or Athletics/Activities, and click on Hall of Fame. You can then either print a nomination form, or complete a Google Form to submit a nomination.
