The city of Windom Electric Department is advising people of a planned power outage to perform repairs on a transmission line.
The planned outage will take place early Sunday morning, at roughly 3 a.m.
To perform the repairs, the city’s substation will be de-energized to allow the work to be done safely.
Members of the public should plan for power to be off during the outage. The plan is to have power back on by 5 a.m.
