For those who take a drive through Tegels Park at Cottonwood Lake, they’ll see that something big is happening.
The old park shelter is long gone and the walls and roof for the new Tegels Park shelter recently went up. The most common comment from those who have seen the structure is that it is much larger than expected.
As the project got underway earlier this summer, the Lions had raised roughly $160,000 in donations and pledges. The goal is $250,000. Construction stops when funding runs out.
Contact any Lions member, or stop at Windom city hall for information on how to help meet the Lions Club’s $250,000 goal.
