A major highway project in the region is wrapping up today, with an eight-mile stretch of U.S. Highway 14 set to reopen tonight.
MnDOT announced that Highway 14 between Springfield and Sanborn would reopen to traffic tonight.
The project included resurfacing the eight-mile stretch, as well as upgrading sidewalks and accessibility ramps and school crossings in Springfield. It also included centerline rumble strips.
