This month marks the anticipated changing of the guard at Windom Area Schools.
Elementary principal Jamie Frank recently became the district’s new superintendent, replacing Wayne Wormstadt, who accepted a superintendent position in Sturgis, S.D.
“The last seven years have been an absolute privilege and joy to lead,” Frank recently said about her time as PreK-5 principal.
She began exactly seven years ago after 14 years as a teacher and later continuous improvement coach in Mankato-area schools. Frank has already been transitioning into superintendent projects for a couple months.
