Seal coating to begin Monday in Windom

Windom Street Superintendent Jon Ketzenberg announced today that seal coating will occur in Windom on Monday and Tuesday.

The city has contracted with Cottonwood County for the project. Ketzenberg said crews will begin work on the north side of town and work their way north. Residents are asked to keep vehicles and trailers off the affected streets until well after the project is finished.
Motorists should also be careful of fresh oil immediately after seal coating is done.

The affected streets include: Kalash Road, Wilnor Drive, Great Bend Boulevard., Douglas Street, Brian Avenue, Seventh Avenue (north of 21st Street), Hospital Drive, 16th Street (between Hwy. 60 and Third Avenue), Fifth Avenue (between 11th and 12th Streets), Fifth Avenue (from 10th Street to Fourth Avenue), Plum Avenue, Ffith Street (south of Sixth Avenue to city limits) and the alley south of Higley Ford (between Second and Third Avenues).
