Voters head to polls in state’s counties

Ballots are ready and voting locations are all set.

People can start voting at the Cottonwood County Courthouse any time. In fact, some may have cast their votes as early as last Friday.

Don’t be alarmed, this isn’t for the general election. It’s for the Aug. 9 primary.
County officials have already mailed out a few ballots to folks who prefer mail-in voting. It works the same as voting at the courthouse this time of year.
