Most of us have moved at least once in our lives.
You make the decision, you plan, you pack, you load everything up, and you drive to the new place that you will call home.
It can be a little scary at first, not knowing the area and meeting new people, but you adjust over time.
Now imagine if you didn’t get to make those decisions. Imagine if you had to move to a country where you didn’t know the language with only a suitcase of your belongings.
That’s what happened to Larysa Khoropchanu, who came to America on May 28 from Kyiv, Ukraine to live with her sister, Katya Klassen of Windom.
