At Tuesday’s Windom City Council meeting, the council approved Kari Hanson as the new city library director.
Hanson, a Windom resident, previously served at the Mt. Lake library. She takes over for Dawn Aamot, who recently retired as library director.
Aamot’s retirement takes effect on Saturday. A farewell open house for Aamot will take place today and tomorrow, during library hours, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
