A Celebration of Life Service for Beth Priest, age 72, of Jackson, was held on Thurs., June 16th, at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom, with David Priest and Lisa Petersen officiating.
Beth Priest passed away on June 11th at Golden Horizons in Worthington.

Elizabeth “Beth” Ann (Galbraith) Priest was born on Aug. 10, 1949, to Raymond and Mary Lou (Yaeger) Galbraith Jr., in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Beth attended elementary school in Redwood Falls and Sanborn, Minnesota. She graduated from Sanborn High School with the class of 1967. She earned an associate degree in Transcription and Stenography at Jackson Vocational School.
Beth married Tim Jensen and the union was blessed with two children, Christine and Susan. The marriage later dissolved. Beth was united in marriage to Randy Joe Priest on 11/20/2000. Beth gained three stepchildren, Alex, Joel and Hannah. Beth was the Deputy Treasurer for Jackson and Cottonwood County for most of her life.
In her younger years, she was crowned Miss Jackson Race Car Days Queen. Beth enjoyed sprint car racing, reading, and camping.
Beth is survived by her husband, Randy Priest of Jackson; children, Christine (Lance) Jackson of Windom, Susan (James) Johnson of Worthington, Alex Priest of Chicago, IL, Joel (Cara) Priest of Spencer, IA, Hannah (Jac) Priest of Emmetsburg, IA; 9 grandchildren, Ashley Jackson, Emily Jackson, Halle Jackson, Alyssa (Marcos) Herrera, Madison Johnson, Keeley Priest, Langston Priest, Huntley Priest, and Remington Priest; siblings, Nancy (Larry) Eike of Heron Lake and Paul (Raquel) Galbraith of Loudon, TN; and other family and friends.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and MaryLou Galbraith.
