Food, music to have major impact on Riverfest

Riverfest 2022 is shaping up to be a fantastic week for food and music lovers.

A total of 26 food-related events and offerings will occur starting Monday night and running through the weekend. It all starts with the Community Cookout Monday night on the Square from 5-7 p.m.

The first big evening of music and food is Friday, June 10 at Island Park.

Opening band Jeremy Dewall starts at 6:30 p.m. with the main act Arch Allies performing from 8-11 p.m. The music is sponsored by Windom Chamber and Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The Jeremy Dewall Band is a Jackson-based group of four that cover songs that appeal to all ages. Arch Allies performs classic rock favorites from the 80s and entertains the crowds with video screens, confetti and a stage lights show.

Four food vendors and trucks are scheduled for Island Park from 6-11 p.m. There is no slowdown on Saturday and Sunday, in fact both those days will be even bigger, in terms of food options.
