After 14 years in the role, Wayne Wormstadt will soon walk the halls of Windom Area Schools as Superintendent one last time.
His last day is June 30, after which he’ll begin a new position as superintendent of the Meade School District in Sturgis, S.D.
“I was very fortunate to sit in the chair and help really good people move this school and community forward,” Wormstadt said recently.
Wormstadt came to Windom after working as superintendent in a K-12 district of 300 students in Canistota, S.D. for four years.
