Windom Area Middle High School will have a new assistant principal in the fall.
At Monday’s meeting, the Windom Area School Board will take action on hiring Misty Riebel as the new assistant principal. She will replace Dr. Jessica Carbo, who is resigning after one year on the job.
Riebel is the former dean of students and assistant principal at the ELC and ALC programs offered through the Southwest-West Central Services Cooperative at the Windom location. She also has worked as a speech and language pathologist with the Madelia, GFW and Sleepy Eye school districts and at the Madelia hospital and is currently a speech and language pathologist with the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted school district.
