It appears Windom will soon be looking for a new director for the Windom Public Library.
At a recent city council meeting, the council learned that Dawn Aamot has submitted her retirement notice, effective June 25. Aamot has been with the library for 34 years.
The council gave City Administrator Steve Nasby authorization to advertise for the library director position.
