When his resignation as activities director was acted on last month, Jeremy O’Donnell stated he intended to stay on as a teacher and head football coach at Windom.
But in the weeks since, O’Donnell got an offer he couldn’t refuse.
O’Donnell submitted his resignation from his teaching and coaching positions at Windom late last week.
He stated that he will be taking a teaching position in Jefferson City, Mo., where he also will be part of the football coaching staff.
In two seasons under O’Donnell, the Eagles posted an overall record of 2-12. Windom went 1-8 last fall after going 1-4 in a COVID-shortened 2020 season.
The district has posted a teaching opening for a full-time physical education teacher as well as head football coach.
