Routine traffic stop leads to possible drug charges

As a result of a Saturday morning routine traffic stop on Highway 60, a motorist could face drug-related charges.

The incident occurred just northeast of the Highway 60-71 junction. According to the report, the motorist now faces possible charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The case is under review by the county attorney’s office.
