Windom Area High School will celebrate its annual Prom on Saturday.
Prom will begin with a reception and pictures at 3 p.m., with Grand March beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Following grand march, the students will load buses and depart for the dinner and dance at Arrowwood Resort in Okoboji. Buses will leave to return to WAHS at 11:30 p.m., with the after-prom beginning at 1 a.m. at the school.
Grand march is open to the public, with a $2 admission per person. Children under age 2 are admitted free.
It marks a return to a traditional format for prom for the first time since 2019. The 2020 prom was cancelled, while in 2021, participants were kept in pods and were required to wear masks.
