Eagle boys earn sweep
The Windom boys golf team swept a triangular Tuesday at the Jackson Golf Club, topping Jackson County Central and Murray County Central.
The Eagles shot a 166. JCC was second with a 184 and MCC shot 225.
The MCC girls scored a 228 against incomplete teams from Windom and JCC.
For the boys, Landon Pillatzki led the Eagles, earning meet medalist honors with a 38. Greyson Elder shot a 41 and Eli Lund added a 42.
Windom’s Ada Lund was the girls medalist, shooting a 47. Miranda Cory shot a 54.
Madelia Meet
Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey’s boys placed fourth in a five-team meet Tuesday at Madelia.
The Wolverines finished with a 221 team score. Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton won the meet with a 177.
Madelia had the only complete girls team in the event, scoring a 265.
Grant Oakland led the MLAC boys, shooting a 52. Joey Faber added a 54, followed by Harlan Munning with a 56.
MLAC’s lone girl, Olivia Christians, finished second with a 57.
Tigers top Falcon boys
Springfield’s boys golf team picked up a 192-236 victory over Red Rock Central Tuesday in Springfield.
Springfield does not have a girls team, while RRC’s girls played with an incomplete team.
Charles Dammann paced the Falcon boys with a 52. Matthew Horning added a 54 and Gavin Willardson shot a 61.
Bailey Timm led the Falcon girls with a 56. Carlee Sell shot a 57.
Dragons sweep Coyotes
Adrian-Ellsworth picked up a sweep over Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Tuesday in a meet played at Fulda.
The Dragon boys claimed a close 185-192 win, while the Dragon girls won 218-278.
HLOF/WWG’s Sawyer Drent was the meet medalist with a 39. Carter Drent shot a 49 and Brady Ross added a 50.
Kelli Renneke led the Coyote girls with a 50. Ashley Freese shot a 58.
