The rash seemingly endless string of area catalytic convertor thefts shows no signs of letting up.
Recently, the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Department received a report of three more catalytic convertor thefts in Adrian Township. Taken were a steel door from a building, plus three catalytic convertors.
The convertors were taken from three older cars that were no longer in use. According to Sheriff Jared Bergeman, the thieves tipped the cars onto their sides before removing the converters.
