At last week’s regular meeting, Cottonwood County Commissioners handled a number of personnel matters, including:
• Approved the completion of a six-month probationary period for deputy assessor David Grev and moved him to permanent full-time status.
• Approved the hiring of seasonal employees Tiffany VandeKieft, Tyler Zieske, Dylan Serreyn, Parker Alvstad, Sam Doorenbos, Zach Squires and Joshua Hedman. Three seasonal positions with the highway department remain open.
• Accepted the resignation of heavy equipment operator Doug Jones and approved advertising for vacant positions, including heavy equipment operator, heavy equipment mechanic and accounting assistant.
