Windom Area Schools will soon begin searching for a new activities director.
At Monday’s meeting, the Windom Area School Board approved Jeremy O’Donnell’s resignation from his position as activities director, which he has held for two school years.
O’Donnell cited the time needed to perform duties as AD has had an impact on his family, which was the primary reason behind his decision to resign.
In his resignation letter, O’Donnell added that he enjoyed working in the district and believes he can continue to make a positive impact on students as a full-time teacher.
He added that coaching football is also a passion of his, and that he would like to continue in his role as head football coach.
