Bingo fundraiser returns to BARC West Gym April 19

There is a new game in town, at least for one more month — bingo.

The Business, Arts and Recreation Center is offering bingo on an experimental basis for two months the third Tuesday of the month. The initial night last month drew about 65 people. The second bingo night is Tuesday, April 19.

The venture is a new fundraiser for the non-profit, charitable organization.

Bingo will be played in the BARC West Gym, 1012 5th Ave., just off the downtown square in Windom. Doors open at 6 p.m., with play beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Large, easy-to-read bingo cards with sliders will be used to play a variety of standard bingo games. Cards for each game are sold for $1, with cash prizes awarded, based on the number of cards purchased for each game.
