The Windom City Council voted 5-0, last week, to approve Kristen Porath of Windom as the city’s new ambulance director.
Porath, a longtime EMT for the Windom Ambulance Department, is the city’s first full-time ambulance director. She takes over for Tim Hacker who has served in that role as a part-time director for several years.
Council members pointed out that Hacker actually treated the position as a full-time position.
