Pending approval by the school board, Red Rock Central has found its new head boys basketball coach.
2002 RRC graduate Colby Pack has agreed to serve as head boys basketball coach. He also will be the district’s Dean of Students and transportation director.
Pack will replace the man who was his boys basketball and football coach in high school, Brian Walker, who is retiring from teaching and coaching at the end of the school year.
After graduating from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Pack taught two years at Westbrook-Walnut Grove. He has spent the past 13 years teaching and coaching in the Fulda school district, serving 11 years as head boys basketball coach for Fulda and, more recently, the paired Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda program. He also served two years as activities director at Fulda.
