Windom American Legion Post 206 and American Legion Auxiliary of Windom announced their 2022 Boys and Girls State representatives at Windom Area High School earlier today.
Kaden Holtz and Madison Prokosch, juniors at WAHS, were selected to represent Windom in the programs sponsored by the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary. Kaden is the son of Jerome and Tammy Holtz of Windom. Madison is the daughter of Tom and Emily Prokosch of Windom.

The announcement was made by Legionnaires Babe and Kathy Crowell and Fred Meyer.
The students were selected by high school faculty in cooperation with the Post and Auxiliary. The selections were based on students’ scholastic standing, character, leadership abilities and interest in government and current events.
Girls State returns to the campus of Bethel University in St. Paul, while Boys State returns to St. John’s University in College. Both programs will be held June 12-18.
