Now that Windom Elementary Principal Jamie Frank is slated to be Windom’s new superintendent, who will be the next elementary principal?
At last night’s meeting, the Windom School Board took steps toward appointing someone from within the school system. The board agreed that Windom has qualified internal candidates and that the time savings (estimated at four weeks) would be valuable.
The next step is for a board committee to meet sometime this week to hammer out the details of the process. The principal negotiating committee which would handle this task includes Frank, Wormstadt and board members Don Brugman, Joe LaCanne and Bruce Mews.
