When it comes to township meetings in the Cottonwood County area, a couple of things can typically be assured — light turnout and little or no change to the levy.
That was again the case for most townships in the area during last week’s annual meetings.
The largest turnout at the 2022 meetings came from Great Bend Township with 13 people on hand. Meanwhile, the region saw levy increases in just three townships, Highwater, Midway and Westbrook.
