Windom Area Schools announced two finalists to fill its superintendent vacancy, following the first round of interviews Wednesday.
The two finalists are:
• Jamie Frank: Frank is the current PreK-5 Principal at Windom Area Elementary School.
• Darrin Strosahl: Strosahl is currently vice president of academic affairs and chief operating officer at Northwest Technical College in Bemidji.
Six candidates applied for the vacancy, with three candidates interviewed on Wednesday.
A second round of interviews will be held Monday, beginning at 4 p.m., at the Windom Area High School media center. The interviews are considered open to the public.
After the second round of interviews is complete, the Windom Area School Board will begin to negotiate a contract with a candidate, with the goal of having a contract ready for approval at the March 28 work session.
