The 2022 election is sill eight months away, but key details are falling into place, including candidates and districts.
In recent weeks, residents have learned:
• Longtime District 22B Rep. Rod Hamilton of Mt. Lake will not seek re-election.
• Two candidates have already emerged for Hamilton’s seat — Larry Liepold of Okabena and Marj Fogelman of Fulda. Both are Republicans.
• In January, the District 22 line moves east, bringing the entire county under District 21 senate seat and splitting the county for the House.
