While the pandemic may be nearing its end point, the medical field is still, in many ways, playing catch-up.
The pandemic has had several impacts on health care throughout the nation and locally, whether it be crowded emergency rooms, empty pharmacy shelves or short-staffed clinics.
But perhaps the most overlooked side effect of the pandemic is the impact seen at the area’s clinics for routine preventive care.
