Windom board to hold special meeting Monday to review interview questions, schedule

The Windom Area School Board will hold a special meeting Monday, beginning at 5:15 p.m., at the Windom City Hall council chambers.

The special meeting will be followed by the regular monthly meeting.

The special meeting will cover the upcoming first round of interviews for the district’s superintendent position, including the list of questions and the schedule. It will also include a review of the first-round interview schedule and will cover draft questions and schedule for the second round of interviews.

The application deadline for the superintendent position was Monday. The first round of interviews is slated to take place next week.

Current Windom Superintendent Wayne Wormstadt announced in January that he would be leaving the district at the end of the fiscal year to take the superintendent position for the Meade School District in Sturgis, S.D.
