Officials from the Windom Lions Club announced Friday that the Lions Club’s shelter project is moving forward.
Erik Haken of the Lions Club noted that prices have been climbling and the decision was made to lock in a price. He added that the plan is to begin construction in late-June, or early-July. A four-week construction process is planned.
“This is exciting news and we know people want to know our progress,” Haken said. “Fundraising is ongonig and we still have a ways to go.”
To donate contact a Lions Club member, or donate to the fund at Windom city hall.
