The Windom Veterans Memorial fund drive needs roughly $12,000 to reach completion.
According to Justin Schmit, treasurer for the Windom Area Foundation, which is the project host for donations, the Memorial Fund currently sits at $62,920. The target goal was initially set at $70,000, but that figure has increased to about $75,000, to account for all of the site needs.
To donate, go to www.windomareafoundation.com and click on the link marked “donate to veterans memorial,” or send a check marked “Veterans Memorial” to: Windom Area Foundation, Box 351, Windom, MN, 56101.
