Windom Area Middle School will present its annual Middle School Play on Feb. 24 and 25, beginning at 7 p.m. each night at the Lecture Hall Theater.
This year’s play, “Gotta Act,” follows the tradition of past middle school plays, where students will perform a series of short skits throughout the show. For many of the students, the middle school play is their first opportunity to perform on a stage. Several of the participants will later take part in fall and winter musicals at the high school level.
Tickets for the show are currently on sale for $2.50 each, with all seats being general admission. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Windom Area Middle High School office during regular business hours, or can be purchased at the door.
The middle school play is directed by Laura Alvstad and Jackie Jurgens, with the help of high school student directors Kaylan Donchez, Maddie Alvstad and Elizabeth Ngisa.
