More details fell into place for the proposed south Cottonwood Lake housing development at Monday’s meeting of the Windom Economic Development Authority.
After a closed-door property negotiations discussion, the board reached a consensus on a Tax Increment Financing offer related to the land price and development agreement.
It appears the lone finalist for the role of subdivision developer is Voss Plumbing & Heating of Paynesville. The upscale apartment developer is Apollo Development.
Economic Development Director Drew Hage noted that the property used for the subdivision development and property for the apartment development will be handled separately.
