Windom Area Health now has a much improved emergency department and improved ventilation, thanks to a pair of recently completed renovation projects.
The two projects each came in at $1.4 million. Kraus-Anderson was hired as the general contractor to oversee the projects.
The emergency department renovation covers 4,200 square feet and features a new triage with four new treatment rooms, as well as a nurses station, cardiac rehabilitation room, trauma room and anti-ligature room for behavioral health patients.
