Marshall scored a power play goal in the third period to tie the game, then scored 24 seconds into overtime to hand the Windom Area boys hockey team a 3-2 loss Thursday in Windom.
After a scoreless first period, Marshall scored 4:01 into the second before the Eagles battled back.
Wyatt Haugen netted an unassisted goal with 3:12 left in the second period. Then, with 29 seconds left on the clock in the second, Karson LaCanne scored, giving the Eagles a 2-1 lead.
Marshall went on the power play halfway through the third period, scoring with 6:57 left in regulation to tie the game.
Then, the Tigers won the opening faceoff in overtime, kept possession of the puck and scored the game winner on a shot from Sean Nwaiga.
Marshall outshot the Eagles 20-16 in the contest. Dan Stubbe finished with 17 saves in the loss.Â
