Crime increased across the board in Cottonwood County during 2021, according to County Attorney Nick Anderson.
Anderson offered the following totals:
• Adult criminal cases — 464 cases in 2021, compared to 408 in 2020.
• Juvenile criminal cases — 87 cases, compared to 65 in 2020.
• Child protection cases — 73 cases in 2021, compared to 57 in 2020.
• Total files — 654 in 2021, compared to 569 in 2020.
