For the first time since 2014, the 2021 Windom United Drive exceeded its annual $20,000 goal.
This year’s drive, to date, has brought in $21,162, which is the most the drive has grossed since 2014, when donors contributed almost $23,000, which was disbursed to 45 organizations.
Expenses still must be deducted from the final tally, which run between $2,200 and $2,600. However, that will still leave over $18,500 that will be disbursed to 22 organizations on the donor card, as well as those charities that were written in.
Watch the Cottonwood County Citizen in late February or early March for the final disbursement totals to area organizations.
