Eagle boys fall at Redwood

Windom 30-30 = 60
RV 36-43 = 79

Redwood Valley controlled the glass and was red hot from the field on its home floor Monday, pulling away for a 79-60 win over the Windom boys basketball team in Redwood Falls.

The Eagles hung tight with the Cardinals early, trailing by six at halftime.

But in the second half, the Cardinals flexed their muscle on the glass. Redwood outrebounded the Eagles 42-27 for the game, which included 13 offensive rebounds.

The Cardinals also shot 53% from the field as a team, and 66% from two-point range.

Henry Erickson paced the Eagles with 23 points. Dylan Serreyn added 14 points.
