The Windom Area boys hockey team had its offense in high gear Thursday night, peppering the Redwood Valley net with shots in an 11-0 victory at the Windom Arena.
The Eagles scored early and often in the contest, outshooting Redwood Valley 63-18 for the game, including 47-14 over the first two periods.
Wyatt Haugen got the Eagles on the board 37 seconds into the game on a power play goal. Chase Hamlett added a goal later in the period before Haugen netted two more goals, giving the Eagles a 4-0 lead after one period.
Vance Koch and Brady Espenson scored 28 seconds apart in the second period and Wriley Haugen added a goal for a 7-0 Eagle lead.
Sonny Heil then scored 10 seconds into the third period, with Zach Rabbe, Karson LaCanne and Wyatt Haugen adding goals later in the period for the win.
Goalie Dan Stubbe recorded his second shutout of the season, stopping all 18 shots in the win.Â
