Eagle girls roll past Rebels

The Windom girls basketball team was in control from the start Monday night, cruising to a 71-29 victory over Murray County Central in Windom.

The Eagles held MCC to 22% shooting for the game and forced 28 Rebel turnovers. Windom turned those miscues into 26 points and used driving lay-ups to outscore MCC 32-12 in the paint.

Hadley Sammons led the Eagles with 17 points. Tristyn Maras chipped in 15 points, while Kendyl Sammons, Hannah Dauer and KJ Huska each scored nine.
