Eagle boys surge past Chargers

The Windom boys basketball team pounded the ball inside Monday night, pulling away in the second half for a 65-51 victory over Westbrook-Walnut Grove at Windom.

The Eagles were able to use the inside presence of senior Dylan Serreyn, who battered the Chargers for 29 points and 14 rebounds in the game.

That opened things up on the outside in the second half. Abe McKibbin scored 16 points and Henry Erickson added 13 points and 12 assists.

Cole VanDeWiele led WWG with 13 points. Zach Knudson and Dan Kleven scored 10 points each.
