A host of key decisions will face the Windom Economic Development Authority board at today’s noon meeting.
The agenda for today’s meeting, which will occur at city hall, includes, most notably, consideration of purchase agreements for the Cemstone property at Cottonwood Lake and also Cemstone’s future site at North Windom Industrial Park. If the EDA approves the Cemstone land purchase, it could very well start the ball rolling on development of homes and town homes on the south side of the lake.
The city council would still need to sign off on certain parts of the project, however. Plans are for Cemstone to move its ready mix operation to North Windom Industrial Park.
