The Windom Eagle girls basketball team couldn’t keep pace with a high-octane Worthington squad Tuesday night, as the Trojans claimed a 93-53 win over the Eagles at Worthington.
Worthington forced the Eagles into 27 turnovers and dominated the glass, outrebounding the Eagles 49-33 for the game.
The Trojans also outscored the Eagles 46-16 in the paint, which allowed Worthington to build a 51-31 halftime lead.
Hadley Sammons led the Eagles with 20 points in the loss. K.J. Huska added nine points.

MLAC 31-28 = 59
Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey had a strong night from the field Tuesday, particularly from long range, leading to a 59-44 victory over Adrian-Ellsworth at Mt. Lake.
The Wolverines drained nine three-pointers in the game, with five coming in the second half.
MLAC also went 11-of-14 from the free throw line in the first half, helping the Wolverines take an 11-point halftime lead.
Brooke Naas led the Wolverines with 24 points in the win. Jaci Tollefson and Kate Janzen each added 11 points.
