It appears Cottonwood County remains in the “high” level of community transmission for COVID-19 in the country.
According to the Center for Disease Control Data Tracker, the county is now among the 79.48% of all United States counties that are at the high level. The CDC site can be found at https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker).
Earlier in 2021, the county was among the 5.5% of U.S. counties with a low level of community transmission. The transmission rate climbed and has remained high since August.
