Christmas light voting starts Dec. 9

A host of local residents are busy fine-tuning their displays for the annual Windom Christmas Lighting contest.

Once again, the contest will be decided by the general public. Voting for the contest runs from Dec. 9 through Dec. 16. Watch future editions of the Citizen for details on how to vote.

The contest is sponsored by the Windom Area Chamber of Commerce and also the Windom Convention & Visitor’s Bureau.

Big prizes are available for top few entries in both the the home and business contests. For instance, first place winners in each contest get $600.
