One of the Windom area’s grand traditions, the American Lutheran Church Living Nativity event, will return on the evening of Dec. 8.
The event, which includes a soup and chili supper from 5 to 7 p.m., features youth re-creating the manger scene in an outdoor setting on the front lawn of the church. People can view the scene either by foot, or from their vehicles as they drive slowly past on Prospect Avenue.
In addition, people can ride in a horse-drawn carriage and pet a variety of animals both inside and outside the church. The event also includes live seasonal music, cider, popcorn and a holiday bake sale. Guests are invited to bring cash or food donations for the Windom Sharing Center.
